Sigg Bottles removed from recommended list

After a warning from a wise reader, we have verified that the newest models of Sigg bottles are indeed made in China. You may still come across an older version on store shelves that does not carry the made in China label. We are working on finding a suitable replacement for the Sigg bottle and we should be able to add it to our list soon.

I am also staunchly opposed (anytime I can help it) to sub-par products Made in China, HOWEVER, I do want to clarify that the ALUMINUM WATER BOTTLES ARE MADE IN SWITZERLAND and ONLY THE STAINLESS STEEL BOTTLES ARE MADE IN CHINA.

This was confirmed on their website sigg.com in that producing stainless steel products in Switzerland was "cost prohibitive" so go ahead and buy the aluminum bottles!
