Last day to order with standard shipping

Today, Tuesday 12/18, is the last day to order from Amazon with standard shipping and have your stuff arrive before 12/25. You still have time to order using two day shipping after today.

Many of the brands listed here are available in small, local toy shops. If you can't get it from Amazon in time, don't give up on your China-Free Christmas! Google your city name and locally owned toys store or independent toy store and see what you get. In our area, most shops carry a good selection of Playmobil, some Kathe Kruse and Haba, Plan Toys, and Heros. If you can't find a local toy shop with these brands, you can pick up some Briarpatch Games, Buffalo Games and Photomosaic puzzles, Crayola or Legos at any Target or Walmart.

Ongoing problems with lead children's jewelry

According to the Sacramento Bee, retailers are being encouraged to pull 16 different children's jewelry items from shelves after they tested positive for high levels of lead. Many of these come from vending machine and gumball type machines but others are being sold by mainstream brand stores like Macy's, Gap and Wishing Well.

Please use caution and common sense this holiday season. If something looks cheap, it probably is!

Monday, Dec 17th is the last day to order Amazon merchandise with free super saver shipping. Many of our recommended brands however, come from a third party through Amazon so you'll need to order this week to get things in time for Christmas!
