The main criteria- must be under $30, made outside of China from a brand we have already reviewed and be something we would buy for our own kids. Please note that we have included Playmobil and Lego in this grouping. While some Playmobil and Lego toys are made in China, these recommended here are not.

Thanks for the good information. I know you focus mainly on toys but do you know where we can by feeding stuff for babies not made in China? All the baby spoons, bottles, plastic dishware, etc we have is made in China.
We plan to add other household products as soon as we can. Right now we are focusing primarily on toys but hopefully before Christmas we will be able to add other items. Thanks!
Most VT Teddy Bears are actually mad ein china or their materials are. I have a few I purchased there with the china tags still on them.
About Vt teddy bears- the company has confirmed with me that the bears are handmade in Vermont. It is possible that they do source material from other countries, nearly all toy companies do. However, toys manufactured in the US have a much higher standard than those manufactured in some other locations.
