Selecta infant and toddler toys Made in Germany

Selecta is a German brand that makes finely crafted wooden toys. Their products, while a bit more expensive than their plastic counterparts, will last your children a long time and provide hours of entertainment. Selecta also makes a miniature food set that is adorable. It's hard to find miniature food for your pretend kitchens that doesn't carry the Made in China label!

I believe miniature food set is from China. Many if not all of the dollhouse accessories and dollhouse dolls from Selecta are made in China.

The fibre used to bend the arms/legs of dolls is made of hemp, but I believe that supplier is based in Germany

Does anyone know information about German brand Erzi? Cute wooden toys? Where do materials come from? Are materials/paints/stains/lacquers nontoxic? Where are all products manufactured?

Another brand to consider is Heroes, and a third is Sina, but it is unclear if their products are manufactured in European Union or elsewhere? Does anyone know?

We've been told by Selecta that the miniature food set recommended here is NOT made in China. However, many Selecta products are made in China and we are very clear that you must check all labels carefully.

Thank you for the information on Erzi, Heroes and Sina. We are hesitant to list a product until we have personally verified it but we will add it to our list to research.

According to the U.S. distibutor of Sina. Heroes, and Erzi toys they are ALL made in Germany. I have not received an official response about raw materials, but unofficially all raw materials are from Germany and all nontoxic. Germany has a much higher standard fro toys than the U.S. does.

Heimess, according to our research, is made in Germany. However, we are based in the USA and have been unable to find a national US distributor. If anyone has contact information for one, please let us know.
